The Sum Of All Problems

The Alchemy of Turning Problems Into Value

— By Paul S. Waugh —

A Christian’s epic study of God-given potential

SERIES: EDITION 1 — The Fundamentals of Mastering Problem Solving Starting With Ourselves

“The only real obstacle and challenge to your life will always—and ever—be A PROBLEM, in some form or other. Master problem prevention and solving and your full God-given potential will naturally manifest itself.”

Paul S. Waugh

A Sum of All Problems is the fruit of 21 years of intense experiential research, soul searching and ardent prayer by Paul S. Waugh and the Lighthouse Global Research Fraternity. Our findings are as eye-opening as they are liberating. There are dark powers attempting to shut down our God-given freedoms, control and power of choice. But increased control equals increased choices.

This work both alerts to the problems to our relationship with value as well as provides the solutions and opportunities—individually and collectively in the Body of Christ moving forward.

There will be commentaries by Paul S. Waugh and group discussions with members of the Christian Body. Register below to receive the Introduction to The Sum of All Problems and a complementary self assessment..

Some feedback on "The Sum of All Problems" From The Lighthouse Global Research Community:

As a fraternity, we are standing in awe! Yesterday felt like a watershed moment—one of the most exceptional days many of us have ever experienced. From Paulie’s announcement of The Sum of All Problems, to seeing the five-part structure of the book, to hearing him lay it out so candidly in the Daily Update, we were struck again and again with the scale, depth, courage, and God-given insight behind this work. It felt surreal, yet also profoundly right—because Paulie has been telling us for years where this was heading. And now, by God’s grace, we are watching the fruit of decades of mentorship, counselling, parenting, and lived experience come together in a way that is breathtaking.

Reading through the problems was like looking in a mirror that spans our past, our present, and the very people we’re becoming. Each problem felt painfully personal and yet universally human. Many of us realised again how much we’ve resisted acknowledging our own problems, avoiding them, brushing them under the carpet, or simply not knowing how to face them. And now we see them laid out with a clarity none of us could have achieved on our own. This isn’t theory. This isn’t recycled self-help. This is distilled wisdom born out of suffering, sweat, prayer, tears, mistakes, and perseverance. It’s a birds-eye map of the human condition given to those of us who, until now, only saw the maze from the ground.

We were struck by how comprehensive, structured, and ordered the five parts are—how they span the primary problem of self, to inside-out, outside-in, outside-out problems, and finally the SOV (Solutions, Opportunities, Value). We marvelled at the craftsmanship of it: the intelligence, the discernment, the simplicity, the everyday language, and the deliberate choices in wording so that millions of ordinary people—ordinary, everyday people—can actually understand what this is saying without needing another book to interpret it. Even the contents page alone feels like a checklist that will either call people into transformation or send them running in fear. And that is exactly why this will shake the self-help industry, the BBC, and every fraudulent institution built on keeping people infantilised and unaware. Books don’t change people—people do. And without community, without mentors, without groups, none of this can take root. That truth alone explains why this work has been so attacked.

Over and over we felt the same conviction:

We cannot do this alone. We were never meant to.

We are mammals. We learn in groups. We thrive in interdependence, not the satanic lie of independence. And Paulie has created not just a publication, but the structure, accountability, and communal pathways through which people can actually grow—satellite groups, daily audios, the foundation program, the concordance backing it all. This is not just a book; it is the beginning of a movement rooted in lived truth, not theory.

For many of us, reading the problems felt like beginning again—like receiving a second chance to examine our lives with honesty and structure we’ve never had. Some of us realised where we’ve pushed away the very people God placed around us to help us grow. Others realised how disconnected we’ve been from our own potential. Others saw, sometimes painfully, how little we understood ourselves—right down to the meaning of our own name. All of us felt the sense of privilege, gratitude, and responsibility to be here at the beginning of something world-changing.

We also felt the sobering reality that this work will be divisive. Many will recoil. Some may even try to ban it. But millions more—emerging men, women, and children—will find in it the structure, the truth, and the hope they’ve been longing for. And we want to be ready to serve them, to guide them, and to build communities locally and globally where these insights can flourish into value and leadership in Christ.

We see clearly now why the BBC, the establishment, and the “self-help” industry fear this work. It dismantles their illusions with lived experience, plain language, and uncompromising truth. It exposes how little the world understands about human potential—and how far we have fallen from grace. This publication, with its concordance of human problems, revelations about comprehension and communication, and God-centred foundation, feels like Nobel-level work that eclipses everything around it.

Most of all, we feel a renewed sense of calling. A gratitude that God has kept Paulie going through attacks, suffering, isolation, and immense pressure. A gratitude that He placed each of us here together, in a community that is learning to be warm, human, vulnerable, interdependent, and faithful. A gratitude that we get to witness and contribute to this. We feel the weight of the moment. The world is heading into further crisis. The time is now.

So we move forward together—praying for Paulie’s healing and protection, praying for one another, praying for those who will be reached in the future, and praying that we may grow into the leaders and servants God is calling us to be.

This is a milestone.

A turning point.

A privilege.

And by God’s grace, we will rise to meet it—together.

Loads of love to Paulie and to everyone. And God bless us all. x x x

We’re sold a lie about independence, the idea that we can be our own man. But simply sharing and seeing the holes in our own character and competence is testimony to why groups are essential for growth. – Anthony Antoine

“The Sum of All Problems” feels like a book that ought to have been written years ago.
We are born a problem to our mothers, our fathers, and to ourselves, yet if asked them whether we’re problems, the answer would be, “I’m not a problem; it’s everyone else.” – Diane Cubitt

This is a whole other level of understanding and knowledge, skill and action that has been gleaned from extensive discovery, planning and action. It is just what it says on the cover, “A Christian’s epic study of God-given potential”… I just love that. – Kris Deichler

It’s just awesome to know that when someone gets this book or considers buying it, that they might open to the contents page, read that and either go “oh dang, I gotta read this, I feel called out even by the contents page!!” Or they’ll put it down and run away in abject horror. – Mel Deichler

Given the current exposure of how the BBC operates and the phrase ‘nothing is more powerful than an idea who time has come’ is absolutely true. The time is absolutely now! – Tom Hasker

This truly is a masterwork, shaping something extraordinary for humanity. Witnessing it, and being part of it in any way, is a profound privilege. Those who engage with this work, attend the workshops, and join the journey will experience God’s glory on full display. – Jess Holder

How powerful to have the evidence and receipts that millions have been spent on trying to prevent this publication from reaching the world. For instance, we have a provably slanderous BBC podcast, hearsay Daily Mail trashy tabloid articles, the Insolvency Service tyranny, nonsense CPS charges, heinous Reddit online abuse etc etc. If an equivalent level of effort and resources were invested in acting on just some of these findings, then that would reap a far greater return on investment for the everyday citizen and the most vulnerable members of our human family. – James Mills

This is not just a list of problems but, through all the research over the decades, we even have solutions to them and we have a big opportunity to create massive value through them. What a gift for everyone, including our children. – Daniel Schmitz

So I can see how there will be so many paradigm shifts from those that are open because virtually every personal development book is “buy this and you will be successful” and this is a book on “these are the reasons why you won’ be successful reading those book because of x,y,z”. – Jatinder Singh

Reading through each of those problems is like looking in the past, looking in the present, and looking at the future of my life, like a mirror through space and time, and the material, each and every single one spoke to problems that were so and so private and so personal yet clearly so universal. This will speak to many, many men, women, and children, right into their soul. – Sukh Singh

I looked at each one of the problems of each part and I just marvelled at how they have been for each one of us here, a significant part of our lives in having these problems revealed to us through many years of loving mentoring, counselling and parenting. – Stasia Simpson
